The Program
The Behavior Mastery Center (BMC) is a specialized support program designed to meet the needs of students with emotional and/or behavioral concerns who are not succeeding in less restrictive environments.
The flexible nature of the program provides the opportunity to meet individual student needs. It is a highly structured, supervised, supportive learning environment.
The goal of the BMC program is to help students learn the social skills and replacement behaviors necessary to be successful in a less restrictive environment.

This is my fourth year at Scarborough as a Special Education Teacher and I look forward to an exciting 2014-2015 school year!
I was invited to join the Scarborough family in October 2011, after having graduated Magna Cum Laude from UTSA with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies in August 2011. During the 2012-2013 school year, I was awarded New Teacher of the Year here at Scarborough. My passion and degree concentration lies with Special Education and I am currently completing the Special Education Master’s Program at UTSA.

This is my second year at Scarborough and I am very excited to be back and ready for the new school year!
I had the pleasure of being part of the Scarborough family in February 2014 after being at the secondary level for four years. My goal is to one day be a Special education teacher. I look forward to a great year with all of our Huskies!
